 Additional Registration Opportunities

We had a wonderful turnout at Culver's on Sunday.  I am sure some of you missed the signup and are looking for another chance to turn in your form, pay your fees and pick-up your fundraiser information.  Well, you are in luck.  For the next couple of weeks, a member of the Columbus Baseball Organization board will be at the Middle School in the gym during basketball practices at times listed below, available for you to complete your sign-up for baseball.  The times are:

March 10 5:30PM - 6:30PM

March 17 5:30PM - 6:30PM

If you are unable to make either of these times, you can contact any member of the baseball board to arrange a meeting.

Columbus will again be participating in the Eastern Suburban Youth Baseball League with other area cities including Cambridge, Deerfield, Marshall and Waterloo.  Columbus will field teams in each league, which is divided into two age groups, the American League (9-10 yrs) and the National League (11-12 yrs)

There will be a skills evaluation session in April to assist in dividing the teams.  Details will be announced at a later date.

The CBO will also continue with other age group leagues as it has in the past. T-ball will include Kindergarten kids 5-6 years old and kids 7-8 years old will play in the Coach Pitch League made up of teams from Columbus and Fall River. Fees for participation are $35 for T-Ball and Coach Pitch and $60 for 9-12 year olds.

Practices for 9-12 year olds will begin in May and 5-8 year old programs will begin in June.  Exact dates and days of the week have yet to be determined.

The Teener and Legion programs will participate in leagues made up of teams from communities in south central Wisconsin.  Fees for Teener and Legion programs are $65

Any questions please call Steve Manthey 608-235-4886.  For updated information, be sure to check back here often.
